Addressing Gender Based Violence

We recognize that gender inequalities and their most brutal manifestation – Gender-Based Violence (GBV) – inhibit women and girls from accessing reproductive health services, and therefore we work to increase awareness about GBV. Some of our strategies in addressing GBV include:

• Community empowerment through life skilling and livelihood trainings.
• Supporting families in food securities and counselling.
• Working with the legal protection units.

Supporting livelihoods at community level. TIF works to bring life-saving and life-changing activities that can improve on the income to millions of youths, women and their families. We do this by empowering youths, adolescents and women with knowledge for improving their skills.
